Spring is Here!

So Spring has arrived in Hope Hull! We have been doing a lot of playing outside! I am so thankful for the nice weather. I thought we were not gonna make it...It is really hard to keep a 4 and 2 year old happy on cold, wet days. I have been throwing them out in the yard to play and I have been spending lots of time with my embroidery machine...Here are a few things I got done yesterday!

I hope you are all enjoying your gorgeous spring weather! We actually headed to the pond on Sunday and caught a few fish! It was such a beautiful evening.

Spring is coming and this weather is just making me want to do all kinds of sweet spring outfits! Don't forget about Easter too!

Fleece Blankets

I am ordering some fleece blankets today! This is not something I keep on hand so let me know if you would like to order a customized blanket. They are a great gift for Auburn or Alabama fans and they are adorable monogrammed too! Of course, an applique can be added! Colors are Navy, Royal Blue, Gray, Red, and Black. Let me know!

Surprise! Custom U2 jet desing for Mollie and Jeff!

Today I had the pleasure of surprising Mollie and Jeff with a custom U2 applique for Kaylee. I had Rosemary from Applique Cafe do me a very special favor and they loved it! I have had to lie to them for a while now to keep it a secret! It was a lot of fun...I hope you have all had a wonderful day as we celebrate the birth of our Savior! Merry Christmas!

The Sunday Elves are Busy!

Well, it is Sunday afternoon and I am  working on a few gifts that I needed to get done for myself! The kids are asleep and the hubby is on a 22 mile run in this fridgid weather :0. It has been a great weekend of Christmas get togethers and working! Jack has had a pretty bad asthma episode so we bit the bullet and got rid of the real Christmas Tree. I have never been one for those plastic things but this one is not too bad (no offense to those of you who love them). It was quite the undertaking to tear down the real one and decorate the artificial. It needed so serious fluffing...We also decided to stop using our real fireplace. The asthma doctor said it was better to have a chain smoker in the house than use the real fireplace! Who knew?! So that ment that we had to clean out the fireplace as well! Ansley was so helpful and never get jealous of all of Jack's "astham attention". She is such a good girl!
