Surprise! Custom U2 jet desing for Mollie and Jeff!

Today I had the pleasure of surprising Mollie and Jeff with a custom U2 applique for Kaylee. I had Rosemary from Applique Cafe do me a very special favor and they loved it! I have had to lie to them for a while now to keep it a secret! It was a lot of fun...I hope you have all had a wonderful day as we celebrate the birth of our Savior! Merry Christmas!

The Sunday Elves are Busy!

Well, it is Sunday afternoon and I am  working on a few gifts that I needed to get done for myself! The kids are asleep and the hubby is on a 22 mile run in this fridgid weather :0. It has been a great weekend of Christmas get togethers and working! Jack has had a pretty bad asthma episode so we bit the bullet and got rid of the real Christmas Tree. I have never been one for those plastic things but this one is not too bad (no offense to those of you who love them). It was quite the undertaking to tear down the real one and decorate the artificial. It needed so serious fluffing...We also decided to stop using our real fireplace. The asthma doctor said it was better to have a chain smoker in the house than use the real fireplace! Who knew?! So that ment that we had to clean out the fireplace as well! Ansley was so helpful and never get jealous of all of Jack's "astham attention". She is such a good girl!

There is a lot going on around here but I still have time for a few last minute Christmas orders. Let me know if you need anything monogrammed! Usually I can have it done in a couple of days. MERRY CHRISTMAS from LOVIE DESIGNS! Have a great week!

Ok, so I have been working on allowing you to view the entire font instead of just what I have stitched out in the picture! If you just double click on the picture it will take you to the entire alphabet. Hope this helps a little. More fonts to come!

Blogging...Wow, this is different than Facebook!

Ok, so I have actually attempted at getting this thing going! I have posted pics, the only problem is that I have no idea how to rotate the darn things. Oh well, I will figure it out eventually.

Here is a little bit about Lovie Designs. I started sewing a couple of years ago and I just got hooked! People would say, "Oh, can you make that for my child?" I would politely say "no thanks" but then I got to thinking. Maybe I could actually turn this into a little home business. I have learned so much and every project is a learning experience. I absolutely love my embroidery machine! The possibilities are absolutely endless! I "specialize" in lined A-line dresses, lined John Johns, pants of all kinds, jumpers, shorts, capris, and of course embroidery projects. You can slap and adorable little applique on a t-shirt and put it with some cute little pants and have a great little outfit. On the gift side of things I do monogramming on aprons, burp cloths, towels of all kinds, some bags, and just about anything else you can think of. Lovie Designs

Well, I have finally done it! I am working on starting a blog for Lovie Designs! I am hoping to make it easier for you to view fonts, designs, and pricing that Lovie Designs offers. I am sure I have a lot to learn about the blogging process so here it goes...
