Well, it is Sunday afternoon and I am working on a few gifts that I needed to get done for myself! The kids are asleep and the hubby is on a 22 mile run in this fridgid weather :0. It has been a great weekend of Christmas get togethers and working! Jack has had a pretty bad asthma episode so we bit the bullet and got rid of the real Christmas Tree. I have never been one for those plastic things but this one is not too bad (no offense to those of you who love them). It was quite the undertaking to tear down the real one and decorate the artificial. It needed so serious fluffing...We also decided to stop using our real fireplace. The asthma doctor said it was better to have a chain smoker in the house than use the real fireplace! Who knew?! So that ment that we had to clean out the fireplace as well! Ansley was so helpful and never get jealous of all of Jack's "astham attention". She is such a good girl!
There is a lot going on around here but I still have time for a few last minute Christmas orders. Let me know if you need anything monogrammed! Usually I can have it done in a couple of days. MERRY CHRISTMAS from LOVIE DESIGNS! Have a great week!
Here is the new tree. Not too bad right? No presents of course becaus the short people who live here can't handle the temptation!

If you see you are going this week let me know...I am not going Thursday nite, but def going Tues & Wed (if Tues doesn't kill me lol) - tomorrow nite is iffy depending on weather and work (dogs outside must come in). If i don't see u this week hope ya'll have a great Christmas and of course i'll c u on FB!

ReplyDeleteThe tree looks really good. I am shocked about the real fireplace thing. That is kinda sad. I know you guys will miss your real fires. Love the updates to the blog. The alphabets are a great addition. Already planning my next order from you. Can't wait to see you guys next week!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could say the reason I don't have any presents under my tree is because of temptation. In reality, I just haven't wrapped them yet. Guess I need to get on that.

I miss the fires so much! We are looking into gas logs when they are in the budget...No, I have not wrapped gifts either. They have been throw to the top of my closet. Sigh, one day soon I shall have time...
